Abstract

The objective of this paper is to analyze the integration process in the Brazilian automotive sector involving the supply chain together with large, micro and small companies in this sector. The automotive industry is one of the most complex and globalized in the industrial process. This study adopts a mixed methods research design, with qualitative approaches to explore the integration of large, micro and small companies in the automotive supply chain in Brazil. The qualitative approach involves in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, including suppliers, automakers and industry experts. The result presents an important analysis to be solved to improve the integration of this supply chain.
